We mainly act for Landlords in terms of Landlord & Tenant advice, although where there is no conflict with established clients, we do act on behalf of Tenants and in this regard we are proud to be retained by Martin House Children’s Hospice, St Michael’s Hospice in Harrogate and St Leonard’s Hospice in York, in order to give advice on their retail portfolios etc.
We have pursued a number of appeals to third party in relation to both rent reviews and lease renewals.
Supermarkets and Convenience Stores represent a specialist area where we have developed expertise in terms of Landlord and Tenant advice but also the acquisition and sale of stores.
We feel in this ever-changing economic climate it is best to be proactive in giving advice on rent reviews, lease renewals and, where possible, re-gearing leases in order to secure income into the future.
